I had an experience this week of telling a co-worker what not to say at a funeral for her cousin who died in a car accident.  He hit a pole while driving after drinking and left behind a 10 year old daughter.  I couldn't help her with her grief but I could help her, help him.  I don't think it was enough but somehow it's what I got out of losing dad.  Did I ever tell you how wonderful it was that you stuck around for me?
